Ski training courses in Gulmarg
This winter 14 advanced and intermediate ski training courses are being organized in Gulmarg by Indian Institute of Skiing and Mountaineering, Gulmarg, in which several students from foreign countries are also joining. Also Indian institute of skiing is also commissioning new buildings in Gulmarg.

Am keen to receive some info on how to sign up for these courses (inter/ advanced).
Also some pointers to the terrain in Gulmarg.

Or, visit the Govt Of India nearest Torism office to get the form: fillit up & send with the demand draft to the Principal I I S & M Gulmarg

People interested in the Indian Institute Of Skiing & Ski Mountaineering may also be interested in a new internet-based Free Ski Exercise Video Training program. 9 video segments, 3 training phases, 52 ski specific exercises covering 45 minutes of video training.

does everyone get admission for basic training in skiing in Gulmarg?

how the payment is to be made? if by draft then in whose favour the DD should be drawn?

am looking at doing a short trip around jan 26th for 3-4 days & have done skiing before at gulmarg & auli. can i get personal tutor for a few days since i cant do the full course due to my time constraint? i may have a couple of friends along with me

Ski courses at IISM Indian institute of skiing and mountaineering ( Govt of India) will commence from 27 Dec 2010 and continue till 25 March 2011.
Each course is of 14 days and fee is Rs 5000/ all inclusive for students below 25 yrs. It will be more for elders. IISM is the best institute of our Nation with centrally heated building , 24hrs hot water, 5* accommodation, most delicious food. The facility in Europe will cost min Rs 3.5 lacs.
