I really would like to experience how the skiing is in the Himalaya's; it must be great. Me and my friend are prefering to go to Gulmarg because of the lift which is taking us up to 4.000 meters for great skiing. I read some good stories about the beautiness of Kashmir where Gulmarg is situated. But is it safe to go there at this moment to go there? The 15 day skiing program was well managed. Makesure that u have proper accmodation. Or pay more and get upgraded into better facility or room. Managment is quite professional but remember this is a schoolin in india and not a pleasure trip. Booz is a big no no in gulmarg as it is a muslim state. Non veg food is not clean, so stick on to vegis. The new facility which is going to start at the end of 09 is awsome. People are very friendly but if u will find lot of cultural diffrence and have to be smart.
